Barry Quick LRPS, is available for all types of photographic commissions and is particularly experienced in available light, live performance photography in venues such as jazz clubs and theatres. Images are available for purchase as either traditional photographs, bubblejet prints, or digital images depending upon intended use. All Monochrome work is either hand processed and printed using Ilford materials exclusively or printed onto Canon Professional paper via their S9000 printer. It is then hand mounted onto Neutral pH backing board. Window mounts are cut from Neutral pH board and are available in several colours although Crescent Blackcore is my 'standard' Colour work is available as either Inkjet prints on Canon materials as above or traditional photographs from a professional printing lab. Either type is hand mounted as above. Digital files are produced by scanning either the negative or transparency onto the computer using a dedicated film scanner which typically produces colour files in excess of 25Mb each in any of the usual formats. They are then copied to CD for for future use as agreed. This format is particularly suitable for use in publishing brochures, flyers or handouts. Despite the adoption of recommended processing and printing procedures using only premier quality materials every image ever produced will fade in time due to UV and pollution attack. This deterioration can be reduced by adopting sensible precautions ie hanging prints behind glass and out of direct sunlight. No responsibility can be accepted for 'fading' of images where thiese precautions have not been followed.
