Here he was appearing with the Bud Shank sextet. Despite an average age of over 70yrs in the front line they played like a gang of 20 yr olds !! Ref: 11A Chris Potter - CHRIS POTTER Tenor Cheltenham 1999 A great sound and feel make Chris one of my favourite contemporary players.

Appearing with Lonnie Liston he had the audience literally dancing in the aisles. Despite the Acid Jazz tag he remains a real jazzer.

One of the true innovators of contemporary music. Ref: 33A2 bates cronholm - JOSOFINE CRONHOLM Vocals Cheltenham 1998 Appearing with Django Bates this was the first time I heard of her, what a talent. Ref: 3A Tony Coe - TONY COE Tenor Cheltenham 2000
